Red Kite Joins NETbuilder

NETbuilder and Red Kite join forces to bring cyber security, observability, and private sector expertise to the public sector

LONDON, UK, NOVEMBER 4, 2026. Red Kite, a UK consultancy that has delivered automation and orchestration to public sector organizations since 2020, has joined NETbuilder, adding to the company’s 27 years of experience in cyber security, observability and automation in the private sector. Red Kite will continue to trade as Red Kite, a NETbuilder company, with its teams, clients, and public sector focus staying exactly where they are.

Two Markets, One Team

Both organizations build automation and orchestration. Red Kite has done so for the public sector since 2020, with a team of 90+ people based largely in and around Telford and Manchester, close to key government department hubs.

NETbuilder has spent years solving the same orchestration problems for private sector clients, and building permanent internal capability for them through specialist consulting, managed services, and enterprise insourcing.

Public sector organizations are under real pressure to build capability they own rather than rent indefinitely. Through NETbuilder, they now have access to delivery models proven in the private sector and applied by people who understand what public sector delivery requires.

Andrew Watchman, Managing Partner at Red Kite, said: “I’m incredibly proud of what we’ve built at Red Kite, the reputation we’ve established and, above all, the talented people who have made it possible. Joining forces with NETbuilder is an exciting next chapter for us, giving us the scale and capability to build on that success while staying true to the values and culture that have always made Red Kite special. I’m genuinely excited about what we can achieve together.”

Business As Usual, With Broader Capability

Red Kite keeps its name, trading as Red Kite, a NETbuilder company with Andrew Watchman continuing as executive sponsor across public sector engagements. Guru Karuppasamy continues to lead the Public Sector practice and its relationships with clients and delivery partners.

Existing Red Kite clients keep the same delivery teams and the same contacts. While the range of capability those clients can call on expands, the people who deliver it, and how, stay the same.

Henry Hale, Chief Information Officer at NETbuilder, said: “Together, NETbuilder and Red Kite become a world-leading independent automation delivery organization, working across the private and public sectors alongside our long-established security and observability practices. Our mission is to build capability clients own rather than creating dependency, and we are proud to welcome the talented Red Kite team into the fold.”
